Swislow LLC was founded in November 2017 by Jawann Swislow as the culmination of his broad experience across software, product management, and IT.

Jawann graduated from the University of Vermont with a B.S. in Business Administration and as the valedictorian of the business school in 2008. In July, he started at Eagle Investment Systems,  a subsidiary of BNY Mellon, as a founding member of the Instrument Engineering team, a new group focused on product management for derivatives and other complex securities. The other members of the team all had at least a decade of industry experience, allowing Jawann to very quickly learn both the business and technology.

Jawann graduated from the Leeds School of Business at University of Colorado-Boulder in 2014, again as valedictorian, then joined FreeWire Technologies as Co-Founder and Chief Information Officer. Jawann was responsible for both on- and off-shore development management of its Asset Management Platform (AMP), including cloud-native architecture, data lake, internal analytics and mining tools, client-facing apps, and APIs. This included everything from product management to final validation testing. He was also the super admin for internal business applications and head of IT, supporting over 50 employees and contractors.

Jawann continues to operate as a Co-Founder of FreeWire Technologies and a senior member of the Instrument Engineering team for BNY Mellon.

Jawann is an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and also certified in Microsoft Azure Fundamentals.
